Curriculum Evaluation
Taking a Closer look…
Leveled Curriculum Evaluation means that we evaluate the curriculum document BEFORE we evaluate the implementation which needs done BEFORE we evaluate the revision processes.
The Levels of Curriculum Evaluation
-

Evaluate the Document.
We begin by evaluating the written curriculum itself—looking closely at how well it aligns with your district’s values, standards, and student needs. This audit identifies strengths, gaps, and inconsistencies in structure, clarity, equity, and real-world relevance. It's a foundational review that reveals whether your curriculum is built to support meaningful learning.
-

Evaluate the Implementation.
A strong curriculum on paper means little if it isn't showing up in classrooms. In this phase, we observe instruction, review lesson materials, and speak with educators to evaluate how well the curriculum is being implemented. We identify where the intended learning experiences break down—and where they come to life.
-

Evaluate the Revision Process.
In the final phase, we partner with your team to revise and realign your curriculum based on insights from Levels 1 and 2. We guide your educators through a reflective process that centers equity, clarity, and student relevance—ensuring your curriculum evolves into a living tool that drives lasting impact.
Draft One Program
We will write a first draft of a new curriculum for you that is tailored specifically to your needs. Starting with a first draft of a curriculum ensures that it is aligned to state/national standards, includes long-term district/building goals, represents community values, and it is written with a clear academic tone that’s ready to use in the classroom. This process also saves district man hours for the initial writing which takes pressure off your teachers and leaders.
